Kingfisher staff agree to resume working

Kingfisher Airlines has been out of work since its license has been suspended by the aviation regulator, DGCA. Even before the suspension, the airlines had several troubles catering its services to the public on account of its bankruptcy which had led to unpaid employees going frequently on strikes.

The troubles seem to be clearing up slowly though. The staff members have agreed to go on work according to the CEO of the cash-strapped airlines said. The decision came after a meeting on Thursday with the members of the staff who were deprived of their salary and benefits since March.

"All employees have agreed to resume duty right now. They are on duty as we speak ... We are all in this together and looking forward to getting the airline going in the next few weeks," CEO Sanjay Aggarwal told reporters.

The airline remained grounded since the beginning of the month after a protest by an employee took a turn for the worst. Though they KFA has been trying to make amends, all the changes would be accounted for only if they please the DGCA to reinstate the license.
