Delhi rape case: Girl stable and conscious

The young girl who was brutally raped by a gang on a moving bus and thrown out of it is now making it back to her prime. She has become conscious and is reportedly in a conscious condition now.

Doctors at the Safdarjung hospital said, "She continues to be in stable condition.". He added that she was alert and conscious while trying to breathe on her own.

"She is fighting it out," another doctor said.

The name of the girl is not being revealed yet. Her male friend who accompanied her to the movie at Saket Mall was also brutally beaten up by the perpetrators. They were both thrown out of the vehicle on to the road.

There were two surgeries performed on the girl, a physiotherapist at the hospital said adding that she was a very brave girl.

A relative of the girl said that she told him that she wanted to live and pleaded for help.

Four of the six suspects were arrested and the two who were absconding are being traced.
