Bollywood’s Super Star, Amitabh Bacchan is solicitated with an Award. This time, this award is not for his work in Big – Screen, but, for Television. Amitabh was recognized as a Distunguished Personality of 2010, awarded by Big Fm Tele Awards. These awards are given on the basis of Public opinion. Responding on getting the Award, the 68 year old Actor says, ‘Television was my rescue when I lost what all I earned from acting in Big screen.
Many warned me when I started appearing in Television commercials and Kaun Banega Karorepati, by saying I was making the biggest mistake of my career. I have started hosting KBC in the year 2000 and after a decade, I can proudly say that it is Television that made me stabilize my downfall and re invent myself. I am really thankful to all those people, who found me eligible enough to be projected as a Distinguished Personality.’
The Actor, will be seen soon on Television again, as he will be hosting the 5th Series of KBC that will be going to entertain us from August 15th, 2011.
