An Internet commercial by Aston Kutcher was pulled off from the web following the uproar from the viewers who have termed the commercial as something that contained racist content.
It’s nothing new to the 34-year-old person to appear in different roles but this time his ad has received so much of ire from the people who viewed it. In Popchips commercial, he has appeared as an Indian man looking out for some love. The ad is somewhat designed like a dating-style one and it has received horrifying response astonishingly.
The twitter accounts were filled with criticisms and one of the viewers even tweeted 'Did I just see Ashton Kutcher in Brownface, for some popchips? The advertisers might have probably thought that it would work well for them and to they came out with defending statements when the ad received not just poor response but ire from the sea of people who browse Internet regularly.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson from Popchips elucidated the dating parody of Ashton’s love life only for fun and it was not intended to offend anyone for that matter. Go through the video and interesting photos. (Phani)
