NTR TDP president Lakshmi Parvathy's latest statements have created a buzz in the political circle. She has recently said that she was like the mother of YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy. She has also performed pujas at a temple for the release of Jagan. It is known that Lakshmi Parvathy had extended her support to Jagan during by-polls. Giving an explanation over the same, she told the media that she extended support to Jagan with a view to help the people who were in trouble.

Lakshmi Parvathy has said that after NTR it was late YS Rajashekara Reddy who was an efficient chief minister. Taking on Chandrababu Naidu, Lakshmi Parvathy has said that it was due to the dictatorship approach of Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP party was in turmoil. She even mentioned that the state government has failed in all fields. To make a point she said people were of the opinion whether situation would be this worse in case YSR was alive.

Political observers said that Lakshmi Parvathy seems to have joined hands with Jaganmohan Reddy to put a check to Chandrababu Naidu. TDP was a party, which emerged as the only alternative to the Congress. And YSR Congress recently popped up as anti Congress. So, there's enough logic behind enemy's enemy becoming friend. However, the observers said there were also talks that YSRC would merge in Congress. What would Lakshmi Parvathy then do was the question being discussed among the political circles.
