...Vastunna Mee Kosam reaches 1000 days: The leader who had re-structured the state info tech era Nara Chandrababu Naidu, inspite of outward hatred to his contemporary late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, is following him inwardly. The former chief minister seems to have exerted too much toll, physiologically by embarking on his massive walkathon Vastunna Mee Kosam.
He has reached 1000 days of the padayatra covering almost five districts, 436 villages spread across 26 constituencies. Really the leader has to be commended over the achievements on the 63rd day (December 03). However the issue that gives sleepless nights to the party cadres is that at 63 years of age wil he be able to withstand the exertion?
On the other hand his predecesor late YSR had embarked on the endevour when he was still under sixty and covered 1500 kms in just 64 days. Well that leaves the TDP chief with fewer options at that age. Because he is suffereing various ailments that come off with age, like diabetes and hypertension. Carrying his pills all through the journey, will it not affect the supremo. This is the question pondering over the minds of the top leaders in the party.
The question of stress for Mr Babu is more than his contemporary. Because YSR had nothing to lose when he set out on his walkathon and the bonus comes, if he garners public confidence, that he ultimately did. Whereas for the TDP leader the scene is ultimately different. He had to face back stabs from with in the party like dissertions, family feuds, and what not. Externally by all means he had to dethrone the ruling party on a war footing basis as it is now or never while exposing the third party in the fray.
With tensions that are in multiples, more than what we explore, must be a horrendous task for the leader. The other issue that mightt be running in the minds of the public and the leaders of the party is the numerous promises the leader is making enroute. Will he be able to upkeep them and if so, why he had not put them into practice earlier? In that case they would not have lost the elections in 2009.
Amidst all this chaos, there seems to be more to the starategies of the TDP think tank, which had proposed the massive walkathon. The latest grapevine gossip is that filmmaker Krish's film Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum that deals extensively by the mining mafia was funded by the party. Well the truth in the issue is yet to be ascertained.
Anyways let us wish the veteran good health and greet him on his achieving the mammoth task of 1000 days interaction with people.................(Wishesh-AarKay)
