Enough gloom, take a happy hour

We don't need a reason to celebrate. In Andhra, every little development in yours or your friend's life invites a "when is the party". Taking a leaf from this, let us explore some ways to retain our happy go lucky attitude.

No need to allow the political hungama deter you from taking a happy hour break. Before you start thinking about free vodka, there are other simple ways to feel upbeat without burning up your pocket.

Just in case you haven't realized it until now, experiences are always more precious than possessions. Why not take your friend out for a movie? These memories stay with you and tease you in the most unlikely moments, bringing a secret smile to your face. It is way better than buying something just for the heck of it.

Plan regular games with friends. One might say, we are always hanging out with our friends. Chatting in a group near the neighborhood chai wallah is a common pastime here. To make it interesting, try to meet over indoor or outdoor sports games. Mastering a game keeps our confidence levels healthy and secure.

Endorphins are the feel good factors in our body that make us feel happy. Increase those levels by walking more and driving less. This may keep you away from the TV, which does nothing to help your tummy. Get fitter, feel fitter.

Give flowers to someone. It will brighten up their day and their smiles will brighten up yours. Same goes with performing a good deed. Make someone happy today.

Listen to your favorite songs. Don't keep quite though. Sing it out loud and spread the cheer. Most of all keep a smile ready for all moments.
