Sai Trust worked in utmost secrecy

robertNorwegian professor Robert Pridday, a once Sai devotee and who was very close to the God man Sri Satya Sai Baba and who played a key role in the Trust once, revealed in a latest online interview to a daily that he did come out of the Trust and Prasanthi Nilayam unable to bear the misdeeds of the other Trust members.

Priddy revealed that the Trust works in utmost secrecy and even its charter also is not known to many.

Making a sensational disclosure, Priddy said that Baba, unable to bear the misdeeds of the members, once threatened to dissolve the Trust between 1983 and 2000 when Chartered Accountant Indulal Shah ruled the roost as chairperson of the International division of the Trust. But Indulal Shah came in the moves of Baba to dissolve the Trust.

Priddy revealed that Baba remained only name sake chairman of the Trust and the actual dictates were always carried out by the other members.

He said he donated liberally to the Trust several times but all the donations went down the drain. ?Baba gave me a ring once after I donated 6000 Pounds but when I got the stone of the ring checked in 2002 by the expert gemologist who works for the Denmark Queen, it was found to be a stone of very cheap quality,? Priddy said.

He also said that he came to know of several secrets of the Trust members through Mr Narasimhan who worked as the Editor for the Indian Express group of newspapers.

Priddy revealed that BBC once conducted a sting operation on Dr Michale Goldston, who took over as the chairman of the International wing of the Trust after Shah and exposed his misdeeds he was indulging in in the name of the Trust.

He also made it clear that he holds no grudge against Baba personally but he was dead opposed to the secret activities of the Trust members.
