Asserting that the Telangana agitation won’t be stopped under any circumstances till the state of Telangana is achieved, the political JAC convener Prof. Kodanda Ram said today that all sections of the Telangana society would continue to be part of the agitation.
Speaking to the media persons in Hyderabad, he said the shape of the agitation is likely to change. “The agitation will continue while it changes its shape,” he said without explaining further.
He said that no section of society has left the agitation and all segments of Telangana would continue to be part of it and reiterated his stand that there has been a movement in the Centre on the issue of Telangana just because of the all people’s strike.
Wine shops to be closed
The wine shops association of Telangana announced that all wine shops would be closed tomorrow across Telangana as a token of support to the strike by the Telangana employees. The association alleged that the government has been running the wine depots with the help of police. It demanded the government to cancel the rents of wine shops corresponding to the strike period.
