Under pressure from the pro-Telangana parties, groups and organizations to precipitate matters for the congress party and government in order to force it to declare Telangana, congress MLAs and MLCs of the Telangana region today held consultations among themselves in Hyderabad and decided to submit resignations to party president Sonia Gandhi.

They have decided to fly to Delhi in the first week of March with their resignation letters and ask her either to declare Telangana or accept their resignations. Before that, as a final resort, they have decided to write a letter to her tomorrow. The letter will be followed up by their trip to Delhi.

They have also decided to block the proceedings of the assembly and share the credit along with TRS members and TDP members of the Telangana area. They have reportedly chalked out a plan to implement their decision.
