Babu! I am not like you: Kiran

babukiranChief Minister Kirankumar reddy and the former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu today leveled allegations against each other in the assembly and made personal accusations in reciprocation.

Diverting from the discussion on budget, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu said that Kirankumar reddy has become the chief minister not on his own strength but because of the compassion of his party president Sonia Gandhi.

“Congress party had no considerable presence in the assembly from 1996 to 2004 and it did not have even the status of opposition party at one stage. You have become chief minister not because of your personal prestige but because of your party,” Babu provoked him.

Replying to the criticism, Kirankumar said that it was true that he had become the chief minister because of the party and also because of the compassion shown by the party president Sonia Gandhi towards him. “Yes, what you have said is true. The party president has given me this post because I remained loyal to the party from the very beginning,” Kiran said adding that he did not behave like Babu who back stabbed his father-in-law NT Rama Rao to become the CM.

“Congress party gave you political life and the late NTR gave you his daughter in marriage but you have back stabbed both of them to become the chief minister. I am not like that,” he said.
