OU JAC leaders today threatened to lay seize to the residence of the congress MP Mr. Kavuri Sambasiva rao if he goes ahead with the idea of conducing the meeting of congress MPs, MLAs and MLCs of the Seema Andhra region at his residence on March 5.
It may be mentioned that the Seema Andhra legislators and MPs of the congress party are meeting on March 5 at the residence of Kavuri Sambasiva rao to decide their future course of action to ensure the state is kept united.
Speaking at a media conference in Hyderabad this morning, JAC leaders Kailash and Srinivas said that Mr Kavuri Sambasiva rao is blocking the emergence of the Telangana state at a time when the central government is about to announce it.
“We don’t have any grudge against Telugu people and we assure their safety here,” they said and warned that there would be serious consequences if the meeting to oppose the division of the state is held as proposed by them. “We will not allow them to conduct the meeting.”
TRS leader Sravan Kumar also said that Kavuri and others are trying to block the separate state to protect their properties here but would not allow them to meet. “The meeting is being held to oppose Telangana but we will see the meeting will not be held,” he warned.
