Transport Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, who was appointed as the new PCC Chief, declared he would convey the actual situation prevailing in Telangana area to the party high command.

Speaking to media persons soon after his arrival at the Shamshabad airport in Hyderabad Tuesday evening, Botsa said that the sentiments of the Telangana people are also equally important along with the development of the area and he would surely convey the Telangana people’s sentiments to the party president Sonia Gandhi.

“I will strictly abide by the decision of the high command on the issue of Telangana,” he said, adding he would try to remove the wrong impression that the actual conditions prevailing in Telangana are not being conveyed to the party high command.

Botsa said he would neither agree nor disagree with the view that his appointment as the new PCC chief is favourable to the creation of Telangana. “My first priority will be to strengthen the party in the state and then only comes Telangana or the united AP issues.

“I have my own mark and that is the mark of party president Sonia Gandhi,” he said.

Warm Welcome

Earlier, when Botsa arrived at the Shamshabad airport, several congress leaders including some ministers, MLAs and senior leaders greeted him warmly. And when was back at his home, some more ministers and MLAs visited his residence to congratulate him on his appointment.

Botsa later called on the Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy.
