Local people today found dead bodies of four persons washed away to the shores of Godavari from upstream flows at Rajahmundry. The bodies which included that of a woman were found in the Godavari waters stagnated near the PVNR Park. Police have recovered the bodies and sent them for postmortem.
Meanwhile, police said they had registered a case and started investigation on the dead bodies to find out whether they committed suicide or were killed by any body. “As of now, we don’t know how and from where the dead bodes had arrived. We are trying to find out,” said a senior police official of Rajahmundry.
