Ahead of the congress working committee meeting taking place in Delhi this evening to discuss the Telangana issue, congress MPs of the Telangana region made a fervent appeal to the party high command to take a favourable decision on their demand for formation of the separate state of Telangana.
The MPs met at the residence of Peddapalli MP Mr. Vivek in Hyderabad this morning and discussed their future course of action in case no positive decision comes out of the CWC meeting in Delhi.
Speaking after the meeting, MP Gutta Sukhendar reddy told media persons that they are expecting a favourable decision for Telangana by the high command and said they would announce their action plan on July 1 if the decision is not favourable to Telangana. He however refused to disclose their plan of action in the event of the decision of the high command goes against their wishes.
