Kodanda warns over delay on T formation

KodandaRamThe Telangana Political JAC convener Prof. Kodanda Ram said today there is no question of the pro-Telangana groups and parties holding talks on the Telangana issue with any one or any group.

Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad before leaving for Delhi to meet the PM and other leaders on the Telangana issue and urge them to take steps for immediate formation of Telangana state, Kodanda Ram warned the Centre and the Congress over delay in taking a decision on Telangana.

“We are not concerned with talks with any body. If the Centre wants to hold talks, it can do so at its own risk but we are not going to tolerate any delay in the formation of Telangana in the name of talks,” warned Kodanda Ram.

He said the Telangana people are demanding the formation of the Telangana state and there is no alternative to the creation of Telangana state. “So the question of talks doesn’t arise,” he said.

When asked on the reasons for his trip to Delhi, Kodanda Ram said he was going to Delhi to meet the PM and other Central leaders to take steps to divide the state immediately. “We will also inform the PM about the dictatorial attitude of the Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy and how he is trying to suppress the agitation,” he said.
