A robbery which came to light late was committed in the East Coast express which was going from Vishakhapatnam to Vijayawada on Thursday late night.

Unknown gang had relieved some relatives of the Telugu Desam party leader Yerrannaidu of gold worth Rs. 80 Lakhs. They were travelling by the East Coast express bound to Hyderabad from Vishakhapatnam. The victims launched a complaint with the Railway Police Force at Vijayawada. Investigations are on and further details might be revealed during the course of the day.

Mr. Yerrannaidu Kinjarapu is a senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party. He represents the Srikakulam constituency. He is the TDP politburo member and former union minister.
