Government today ordered police security to the mining business man Mr Sasi Kumar who became a key witness in the Gali Janardhan reddy case.

Sasi kumar is being provided with a one plus one security from today keeping in mind the sensitivity of the case. Sasi Kumar has submitted an affidavit to the CBI and also to a magistrate saying that IAS officer Sri Lakshmi and the then mining department director Mr Rajagopal had demanded bribes from him for granting iron ore mining leases.

CBI is going to make Sasi Kumar and Konda reddy, son of former congress MLA Mr Varadarajula reddy, key witnesses in the illegal mining case registered against Gali.

Both of them said that Gali was favoured by the two officers in granting leases to him by violating rules. Konda reddy has also said that Jagan forced him to withdraw the court case in favour Gali.

The government has earlier ordered two plus two police security to Mr Konda Reddy two days ago.
