Loksatta anti corruption drive culminates at Khammam

Loksatta party’s anti corruption week, launched on December 09 shall culminate at Khammam, with a two day event commencing from today. The two day event shall begin at 10 am today with a rally by students at the district headquarters. This will be followed by an address by the party President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan, at a meeting. Later in the evening he would preside over the debate on the problems faced by the cotton farmers in Muccharla village at 4.30pm. The event schedule was announced by the Loksatta State Secretary P. Bhaskarrao.

He further said, on Saturday there would be a party executive meet. The basic issues that shall be discussed would be about the political situation prevailing in the state, civic polls, by-elections, farmers problems, lokpal bill are among the priority. The meeting would be organized with Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan chairing the committee.
