The CBI sleuths continued their interrogation of Mr Vijay Sai Reddy for the second day today in the illegal assets case involving the YSR Congress president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy.

CBI officials brought Vijay Sai to their make-shift office at Dilkusha guest house around 10 am and began the interrogation. His questioning will continue till 5 pm.

The special CBI court at Nampally remanded Vijay Sai, a right hand man of Jagan, to judicial custody till Jan 17 after CBI arrested him in the case. However, CBI moved the court again seeking his custody for 15 days for further interrogation as he reportedly played a key role in the manipulation of bribes of hundreds of crores as investments into Jagan-owned companies including the Sakshi daily.

The CBI court permitted a 5-day custody of Viay Sai to the CBI and asked the investigators to interrogate him between 10 am and 5 pm and then send him to the jail during the night time. (JUBS)
