7 burnt alive in fire accident

7 persons, including four children, were burnt alive in a fire accident at Gundla Pochampally in Medchal Mandalam of Ranga Reddy district this morning.

The fire accident, reportedly caused by an LPG cylinder blast, destroyed 30 thatched houses, according to reports.

The dead included three aged persons. Police and revenue officials have rushed to the spot and sent the bodies of the dead to post mortem.

Reports said the fire started immediately after the cylinder blast at a thatched house and immediately spread to the neighboring houses charring the seven persons to death with in minutes.  (JUBS)
