Election Updates in a nutshell, at Noon

First quarter posing for a land slide win for Samajwadi Party in UP, Akali may reclaim power in Punjab, Manipur second term for Congress and Goa posing even.

Indian election results are dominating the media with counting moving at a rapid pace. A nut shell report is made at 12noon for the reader enrichment on a state wise pattern. The most interested hotly debated subject in the country has made politicians realize their follies and learn from the winner the best winning traits. Most TV channels and the internet are tuned on to the Electoral results in all the five states.

Uttar Pradesh: (Total Seats: 403)
The leads of various parties are: SP leads 189, BSP in 101, Congress in 50 and BJP in 48 constituencies. The updates fore cast an unexpected makeover of the Samajwadi Party and the hero of the day being Akhilesh Yadav. Yadav had steered his party from the Goons image and created a new avatar of `visionary.’ On the other hand more than the debacle what worries the Congress is the debacle related to the Gandhi Scion Rahul Gandhi. The party is trying all its strengths in insulating the leader. On the other hand the BSP leader Mayawati seems to be the biggest loser in the state.

Punjab: (Total Seats: 117)
The leads of various parties are: Akali: 60 and Congress: 54 constituencies. Well as per the present situation the Akali is surely in a better zone. But nothing can be predicted as the scales are not far off. But as per statistics, Akalis seem set to create history as the first party to come back in the state. Inspite of the Change syndrome prevalent in the state the Akali’s have created history if they progress their leads.

Uttarakhand: (Total Seats: 70)
The leads of various parties are: BJP: 30 and Congress: 29 constituencies.  The fight out here is quite tough and the both parties are fighting a tough bout. But BJP’s advantage is its Chief Minister Chief Minister B C Khanduri, who is known as a clean man. But internal feuds are a big issue and might play a spoil sport by the end.

Goa: (Total Seats: 40)
The leads of various parties are: BJP: 13 and Congress: 05 constituencies.  Out here it is tough time for the Congress, with the BJP cruising ahead. The vast turnout at the elections was foretold by each party on its own terms. But the results show the BJP right in a way. Poll pundits say that there could be a BJP comeback after five years of Congress-NCP rule.

Manipur: (Total Seats: 60)
The leads of various parties are:  Congress: 23 and TMC: 03 constituencies.  Congress is sure to sweep in Manipur along with its ally TMC.  So the Congress set to retain power in the state.
