The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing illegal assets case, has issued petitioner on transit (PT) warrant on YSR Congress party chief and Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy, who is in Chanchalguda jail under judicial custody till June 11. It may be noted that Jagan is the prime accused in the illegal assets case. The CBI Court, which has accepted the second charge sheet in the case, as a special case, has issued PT warrant. The court directed the officials of Chanchalguda Prison to ensure that Jagan be presented before the court on June 11.

The CBI Court is now treating two charge sheets (filed by CBI on illegal assets case) as two different cases. It may be recalled that CBI has filed second charge sheet on the case on April 23. This second charge sheet was a 47-page supplementary charge sheet.
