Minister for Roads & Buildings Dharmana Prasada Rao, today inaugurated the Sixty Third Vana Mahotsav at Srikakulam. Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that public must must raise their voice against the people who were cutting trees and harming the environment by disturbing the nature. He added that saving the environment was a social responsibility and all of them must involve in this mammoth task. The need for the campaign of saving the trees must be realized by one and all.
Trees are the natural resources to give out oxygen and induce rainfall. Neglecting trees would wipe out the human race, said the minister. He also advised students to adhere to saving the trees in their daily routine and it will have tremendous positive effect on the future of the nations. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
