The ballad singer Gaddar has said that organizations were working towards throwing obstacles at the formation of Telangana state. He has lashed out at the police and said that they were not behaving in a democratic manner. Gaddar, who was upset that he was not permitted to enter Osmania University, has said that obstructing him from entering the university campus was undemocratic. Angered Gaddar later met the home minister Sabita Indra Reddy and complained her.

It has to be mentioned here that Osmania University in Hyderabad is the hub of Telangana movement. Therefore, sources said Gaddar might have been restricted to enter the campus.
