The cases filed against the agitators in Telangana issue reached to 34. The city police has set up special teams to nab the accused. The police said that they have been gathering solid proofs after which they would be arresting the accused and the brains behind them. The police sources said that the cases were transferred to the special investigation team. Out of these cases,  21 cases were registered for damaging the vehicles, five cases for damaging the public property and two cases for attacking the police.

The police reportedly said that cases were also filed against Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman Prof Kodandaram. It may be noted that Telangana march-support of statehood for Telangana-was taken out at Necklace Road in Hyderabad, which was a grand success. However, some miscreants allegedly damaged DSNG vans of the media channels besides injuring cops.
