Ayyappa devotees have all reached the holy shrine of Sabarimala, for their blessing from their god and to view the makara jyothi. The pilgrims have peaked today making the holy shrine crowded.

People have taken their holy baths in the Pampa River and then moved onto the holy town.

It is to be noted the officials themselves have announced that the makarajyoti is fake and a setup to attract crowds but this has not deterred the devotees.

This once again proved that the devotion is not about being real or fake but it is all about beliefs that can drive men to extreme extents.
