A senior doctor in the Osmania general Hospital confessed to authorities that he did misbehave with a women junior. On Thursday the Junior Doctor's Association (JDA) of the hospital complained against Dr G Prakash who is a professor of surgery in Unit VI. The accused doc was also a teaching faculty as the hospital run by the state government also houses a medical college.

As per the complaint, the protestors claimed that the surgeon misbehaved with his junior and sought his transfer. Dr Prakash literally broke out before the concerned when called for an explanation. He confessed that he did agree to their allegations while tendering his request for transfer, as demanded by protestors.

He also assured the gathering that he would not come back as an examiner to the hospital in the near future as he had just another three years tenure. The JDA said that though there were several complaints against the said doctor in the past, most were ignored. But after the death of 23-year-old physio student in Delhi who was gang raped by six members in a moving bus on December 16, things have been different. (Wishesh AarKay)
