VV Lakshmi Narayana who worked for 7 years in CBI, whose native place is Srisailam won many fans and received appreciations from many in Andhra Pradesh for his dare and straight forward way of dealing with the cases of persons of high profile is transferred to the Maharashtra State where he belongs by his IPS cadre.

As he has to work for the Center as a rule, he opted to work for CBI for which he was appointed for 5 years and later was extended by two more years due to the important case he has been dealing investigation of which was not completed.

Lakshmi Narayana dealt with the cases in which huge monies are involved like Satyam scam, Gali Janardan Reddy’s mining scam and YS Jagan’s money laundering case among others.  

The Chennai JD of CBI Arunachalam is going to take additional charges of AP State.
