The Telugu Desam Party President Chandra Babu Naidu announced today that the TDP will join Federal Front that is an opposition to UPA and NDA.  Chandra Babu also said that other regional parties will be consulted and the decision will be announced at the appropriate time.  

Chandra Babu said that the UPA lost due to weakened Congress Party and NDA is losing due to BJP is not gaining.  As such, Babu predicted, the regional parties will emerge as a strong alternative.  Next general elections as Babu said, will be dominated by the regional parties.  

Chandra Babu said that as TDP played a key role in forming a group against Congress previously, in 2014 elections also TDP will play a crucial role.  

But politburo member says that this is not discussed in the party so far.  The idea is only in the mind of Chandra Babu Naidu at present which will be developed and discussed in the party meetings as Babu’s statement implies.
