Congress party seems approaching towards a conclusion on the division of the State.
The AICC General Secretary and State in charge Digvijay Singh had a long discussion for 40 minutes with the Union Minister Jaipal Reddy on Monday in which they talked about all alternatives regarding division of the State. They discussed about calling of the CWC meeting in which the discussion on the division will be put forth to take a decision as it was earlier announced by Digvijay Singh. They also discussed about the feasibility of making a Rayala Telangana State.
The discussion became important as Jaipal Reddy called the Deputy Chief Minister Damodara Raja Narasimha, Minister Jana Reddy and other Telangana leaders to have long discussions. After the discussions Jana Reddy became very confident about the division of the State and he is telling everyone he meets about it.
Telangana leaders think that the initiation taken by Jaipal Reddy is an indication that the situation is turning in favor of the Telangana Statehood. It is known from the reliable sources that the discussions between Jaipal Reddy and Digvijay Singh were mainly on the CWC meeting dates and framing agenda for the meeting. Jaipal Reddy is confident that the proposal for the formation of Telangana State will be made in the next Parliament sessions.
However, a lot of changes are expected in the attitude of the Congress party regarding the T issue.
