When The Union Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde was inquired today about the Telangana Bill and 40 days' time allowed to return after considering in the Assembly, he said that the Ministry has not received the draft bill on Telangana formation yet from the President. He said that it will be sent to AP Assembly after it is received from Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Shinde said further that after receiving it back from the AP Assembly it will again be sent to the Union Cabinet after which the final bill will be sent to the Parliament.
As the process is taking so much of time that it cannot be introduced in the Parliament in the current session a question was raised for which Digvijay Singh said that a special Parliamentary session will convened if necessary.
In the meanwhile the AP Assembly sessions have begun today. The Seemandhra MLAs are advising the Chief Minister to introduce Samaikyandhra proposal in the Assembly before Telangana Bill arrives so that a decision of the Assembly against bifurcation can be intimated to the Center.
