The BJP PM Candidate Narendra Modi retains the clean chit given by SIT in February 2012 as the petition of Zakia Jafri challenging the clean chit given by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to Narendra Modi in 2002 riots.
In the massacre in the Gulbarga Society in Gujarat 69 people were killed and Congres MP Ehsan Jafri was one of them whose wife Zakia Jafri filed the petition against SIT’s report in April.
Magistrate BJ Gantara was first to deliver his judgment on October 28 but it was differed to December 26.
Reacting on it Zakia Jafri said that she will fight till justice is done. She said that she will go to Supreme Court on it and expressed her confidence that justice will certainly be done at the highest court.
