TG Venkatesh demands capital in Rayalaseema

Rayalaseema Hakkula Ikya Vedika president TG Venkatesh has demanded the union government to establish the capital of divided Andhra Pradesh in the Rayalaseema region. Speaking to the media in Kurnool Venkatesh said, “Rayalaseema region sacrificed Kurnool capital in 1956 and people of this region are now in no mood lose anything hereafter.”

“Center government said it established the 1953 Telangana as it is and so we want the Kurnool capital of Andhra state. If government fails to do so, leaders of this region will intensify the agitations. We tried all our efforts best to keep the state united but we failed,” added Venkatesh. When asked about his future political plans, he skipped the question however assured the media that he would announce all the details shortly.

Venkatesh has been looking a slot in Telugu Desam Party and trying his best. Another ex-minister Ghanta Srinivas Rao is also rumored to be looking for TDP. But these leaders have been in touch with Kiran Kumar Reddy and may or may not join his new party.
