CBI questions PM's advisor

In the Coal block allocation scam, the Central Bureau of Investigation [CBI] has questioned Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's personal advisor TKA Nair. The Supreme Court has directed CBI to file final reports in six cases and complete the probe in 10 other cases by the end of April, accordingly the investigation agency is moving the probe.

Nair will also be questioned on some other coal block allocations especially those allotted when  Manmohan Singh was holding the Coal Ministry. CBI will record Nair's statement as a witness in connection with the allocation of Odisha-based Talabira coal block to Hindalco. Hindalco was given the coal block even after being rejected by the Screening Committee.

Finally after one and half year, CBI seems to be making some efforts in Coal scam case which reckoned to be one of the biggest scams ever.
