In a twist in the tale, the Delhi Police have confirmed Sunanda Pushkar Tharoor's mysterious death as murder and also filed a fresh FIR in the case. Delhi police commissioner B S Bassi today has recognised this update but did not comment and added that the case in investigation process and all the information will be provided to the court. The Delhi Police launch a fresh probe as the medical reports of Sunanda said her death was unnatural due poisoning.

Sunanda Pushkar wife of Former Union Minister and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor was found dead in mysterious circumstances at five star hotel in January 2014. Initially the doctors have claimed that overdoze of medicine led to her death but a doctor from AIIMS said, the medical report was prepared as there was immense pressure. In October 2014, a medical report leaked that Sunandas' death was unnatural and based on this report, the police took a fresh probe.

Finally the Delhi police got a breakthrough in the case. There are also chances of questioning Shashi Tharoor in connection with the case. Time and again Tharoor has clarified that he is ready to cooperative with the police in any sort of probe and for quick end to the case.
