Will Ganguly take BJP flag?

The Bharatiya Janata Party is leaving no stone to spread its wings further in the country and since this morning political circles are largely discussing about the inclusion of former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly into the Saffron ally. Though the talks are still in preliminary stages, the insiders of BJP are confident that Ganguly will be the new face West Bengal BJP. The National President Amit Shah is heard to be doing all the deliberations and an update about this would out soon.

Sourav Ganguly is an icon in West Bengal and many political parties tried to get him to their party but the cricketer stood away from politics. In the 2014 annual elections, BJP offered Ganguly a Lok Sabha ticket and there were also rumours that he would be made Union Sports Minister. However, Ganguly has declined this opportunity with reasons best known to him.

As the elections of Bengal are slated in 2016, BJP is making way for popular leaders in the state who are not happy with the Left and Trinamool Congress. Earlier this month, Manjul Krishna Thakur, a cabinet minister in Mamata Banerjee's government, joined the Saffron ally while one of the founder of Trinamool Congress party, Dinesh Trivedi is also expected shortly.

Anyways let's wait for Dada's political entry.
