Narendra Modi to promote International Yoga Day on a Global Arena

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21 in such a way that it should sound a strong message globally. The ceremony will be held at Rajpath, the chief ceremonial avenue in Delhi that stretches from Rashtrapati Bhawan, the presidential palace, to the majestic India Gate. The happening will have Bollywood A-listers and Sportsmen as Brand Ambassadors.

Big B Amitabh Bachchan, Khiladi Akshay Kumar, and Long legged Beauty Shilpa Shetty, Combative Cricketer Virat Kohli, and Wrestler Sushil Kumar are ready to glorify the event while Modi will be the front face.

Amid terror threats, an impregnable security fortress will be laid around Modi that day. Delhi Police will take control of Rajpath much before the ceremony.

Newly set up AYUSH ministry, which is organizing the mega event stated that apart from Delhi Police and Modi’s personal Z plus security, 10,000 defence and paramilitary personnel will be practicing yoga exercises along with PM Modi.

Modi is having plans about the event from quite some time.

Last year, PM Modi had used his first speech at the UN General Assembly to call for an International Yoga Day to be recognized.

Yoga lets people "discover the sense of oneness with you, the world and the nature", PM Modi said in a speech held at the UN General Assembly last year.
