TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah will appear before ACB regarding the cash for vote scam interrogation.
It is known that ACB is interrogating the TDP officials on cash for vote scam and officials like Vem Narendar Reddy had already faced the interrogation. Another official Veeraiah, who is called up by the ACB officials, was absent for it, complaining some health problem.
Regarding this, the ACB granted him ten days permission. Now, after Revanth Reddy was granted the bail, Veeraiah wrote to the ACB saying he was ready for the probe. So, the officials asked him to appear on Monday serving the notice under Section 41 A of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Along with Veeraiah, the ACB also issued notice to the Hyderabad Cricket Association coordinator Jimmy Babu, who was reportedly identified by nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson as the person who introduced the latter to Mr. Revanth Reddy and two others Stephenson and Udayasimha, who were already arrested.
If the reports are to be believed, along with Veeraiah and Jimmy Babu, Revanth Reddy’s personal assistant and driver were also served the notice.
Jimmy Babu was also the general secretary of Telugu Yuvatha and also a follower of Revanth Reddy. Stephenson reportedly referred to Jimmy Babu in his confessional statement to court that Sebastian would contact the former.
Andhrawishesh view:
Veeraiah coming forward for the investigation after Revanth Reddy getting bail is paving the way for a new buzz among the political circles. However, the result can be out only after the interrogation.
