Muni Koti, the man who burnt himself in fire for AP special status, died on Sunday, inspite of several efforts performed to save him.

Muni Koti is the name that created sensation in one single day, after he set himself on fire demanding AP special status. A sudden action from him, shocked all the Congress leaders and the people over there.

Severe burn injuries led to Muni Koti’s death

Koti was immediately rushed to Ruya hospital in Tirupathi, after the incident, and then shifted to Veluru CMC, and for the better treatment, he was even taken to Chennai hospital. It was there, Muni koti left his final breath as his condition turned worse after severe burn injuries on the body.  
    
During the Congress party Poru sabha meeting in Tirupati, which is aimed at protesting Union government's denial to Special Status to AP, Koti took this decision. Koti had no parents and is even away from his wife and led his last days alone.    

Muni Koti’s active participation in Samaikyandhra movement

Koti took active participation in the Samaikyandhra movement. But after the Telugu states are bifurcated and AP is rejected the special status, Koti felt that the incidents are turning worse and so took this decision. After Muni Koti’s death, the leaders called for a bundh in Tirupathi and is still continuing today too.

I will not talk anything about AP special status - Pawan Kalyan

Reacting on Muni Koti’s death, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan said that, he is not going to utter anything about AP special status, as the situations are turning more volatile, especially after Muni Koti’s death. Pawan expressed his condolences to Muni Koti’s family.

Andhrawishesh view

Till date, the AP special status issue, which is been an ordinary issue for the political leaders, has now become crucial. The pressure from public is also increased on the leaders. The leader, who succeeds in bringing the special status to AP, will have an every opportunity to come into power in 2019 elections.

In fact, may be due to this reason, the NDA government and TDP govenrment are planning to make the issue more viral like Telangana movement and declare the special status to AP, just before 2019 elections, so that it would be beneficial to both the parties to keep up their government.
