Central minister Arun Jaitley openly declared that, special status is not at all possible for Andhra Pradesh.

All the opposition parties like Congress, YSRCP, CPI parties are protesting against the central government for AP special status. The communist parties already conducted ‘Bandh’ in AP yesterday and YSRCP is planning to strike on August 28th.

Even though the issue is turning this viral, there is not even a single positive sign from the centre about AP special status. Moreover, yesterday, Arun Jaitley said that special status to AP is not possible, as the centre has to face a few of the technical issues.

Adding to this, Jaitley said, instead of special status, AP will be provided with more financial help and other special packages.

Reacing on this, the TDP MPs, JC Diwakar Reddy and Sujana Chowdary said, “whatever be the names, centre’s help is needed for Andhra Pradesh. So happy to say that, the centre assured financial and also industrial package to AP.   

Chandra babu reaction on Jaitley’s statement about AP special status       

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is found quite unhappy with the centre’s decision. He questioned TDP MPs for their failure in questioning Jaitley about the special status. “Without special status, the situation is going to be very worse in the state,” Naidu said to Amit Shah on phone.

Naidu even made a conversation with central ministers Venkaiah Naidu, Jaitley, Rajanath, Seetha Raman and explained the situations in the state.

Pawan Kalyan should come forward for AP special status - Sivaji  

If the above situations are happening in the leading government, the opposition parties are making their best efforts in special status movement. Sivaji conducted candle rally yesterday in AP and also said that it would be better if Pawan Kalyan comes forward and participate in the special status protest.
 

However, as of now, centre directly declared that, special status to AP is impossible and moreover TDP MPs are satisfied with the special packages announced by the centre. So in this situation, AP special status might not be possible in the near future.
