Telangana Chief Minister KCR has set a target of six months, for completing the construction of double bedroom houses in the selected places of the various districts.
It is known that, before the elections, KCR had promised double bedroom houses to the poor people. But upon the delay of the project for several reasons, he received criticisms from the oppositions.
KCR seems, not in a mood to give any chance for the criticisms go viral. So, he launched the double bedroom scheme in the various locations recently and kept a target of completing it, in the next six months.
Regarding this, firstly, he will showcase 300 odd flats in IDH Colony in Hyderabad and 285 houses in Narsannapet village and Erravalli village in Gajwel Mandal of Medak district, being the village he adopted under Grama Jyothi scheme launched by his government.
Along with the above, the Telangana government constructs 900 houses in Suryapet and several other places. KCR and other government officials, already laid the foundation stones, in all the above said places, on Dussehra, for the construction of 60,000 houses.
Speaking about the double bedroom scheme, “ KCR said, “Every house in Gajwel constituency, will be ensured with the drinking water within six months. If everything goes well, even the double bedroom houses would also get ready in the same six months. I will make sure the builders support the government and finish the project before the deadline.”
Not stopping there, KCR even assured to turn Erravalli and Narsampet as model villages in Telangana state. He opined that, in a short time, even the people across the country visit the Telangana villages, to know about the drip irrigation and other modern farm technologies.
For Erravelli village alone, CM allotted Rs. 32.54 crore, for the housing scheme and is planning to provide further assistance from the various departments, for the overall development of his adopted village.
If the double bedroom scheme is completed as promised, KCR would be even more powerful in Telangana state and the oppositions have to search for the new option to criticize the government.
