Telangana Chief Minister KCR, is going to the next level, by planning an effective implementation of the double bedroom scheme in the state.
From a stage, where the poor people were not in a position to meet the basic necessities, are now stepping into double bedroom houses, with the support of CM KCR.
Among the various promises KCR made, during the time of the elections, double bedroom scheme, has attracted many. Keeping up the promise, after getting into power, he implemented the scheme in IDH colony, Hyderabad.
It was after that, the scheme went viral and the government gained belief of the public. Thousands of applications reached the collector offices, seeking double bedroom houses, even before the release of the fresh notification from the government. Now, regarding the scheme, CM KCR took another significant step.
For benefitting more number of poor people, through the houses, he called up the tenders for the construction of the houses, in another seven places in the city - Sanath Nagar, Yakutpura, Malakpet, Amberpet, Musheerabad, Khairathabad, Dhobighat.
In all the mentioned areas, the government would construct nine floored buildings and accommodate the poor people.
Adding to this, these buildings are even going to have the lifts and for this, GHMC already sanctioned Rs. 151 crores, for all the seven places.
Regarding the implementation of the scheme, the government will call the tenders from 11th of this month and complete all the formalities by 4th of next month and then decided to start the construction works.
