East Godavari district woke up to a bad morning, after knowing that a girl kid was found dead, who went missing two days ago.

The girl named Poojitha, resident of Peddapuram, Chadavalavada, went missing two days ago and since then, the officials are in search of the girl, after the girl’s parents registered a missing case in the Peddapuram police, along with Tuni and Pitapuram police.  

Last Wednesday, Pooijitha accompanied by her parents, went to her grandfather’s house, to attend a marriage. It was there, while crossing a road for buying the chocolates, the kid was found missing.

After a vigorous search in several places, finally the child was found this morning, in  Eluru water stream.      

Along with the girl’s family, the entire village and the people around are deeply saddened by the death of the girl.

The girl’s parents who could not take this, cursed their situation. When asked about any doubts on the people around, who might have involved in Poojitha’s death, the parents said that, two women recently kept on asking Poojitha’s clothes.

Currently, the police are investigating the case, basing on the clue given by the parents and assured them to provide proper justice soon.
