In a tragic accident six people died on spot on Nizamabad-Basar road at Fakrabad under Navipet police station on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the police, the accident occurred when an auto rickshaw returning to district headquarters town from Basar collided with RTC bus killing six persons including two children and a woman on the spot.
Another woman, Rachana, who is pregnant was seriously injured and shifted to Hyderabad. The deceased have been identified as Satwik (2), his father Bandi Satyanarayana (26), Gangotri (6) and her father Koradu Ganesh (28), Nitish (17) and Ruchitha (19).
Ganesh, an autorikshaw driver and Satyanarayana, conductor in the TSRTC were brother-in-laws and resided at Adarshnagar in the town. Nitish and Ruchita, nephew and niece of Satyanarayana arrived from their town on the invitation of their maternal uncle. They were returning in Ganesh’s autorikshaw after attending Satwik’s “aksharabhyasam” at Basar in the morning.
Rachana, wife of Satyanarayana sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to the State capital to be admitted to a private hospital. The accident took place at a narrow curve which is known as danger zone at Fakrabad.
