In a tragic incident Two persons died on the spot in a road accident in Tirrupati. According to the police, this incident took place on the Tirupati-Bengaluru highway when the car in which the duo were travelling rammed into a lorry at Nendragunta under Pakala police limits in the late hours of Sunday.

R. Sivakumar (32) and V. Munendra (42), died on the spot. The youths hailing from Halanayakanahalli , were travelling to Tirupati when the mishap occurred. The lorry was slowing down at a speed breaker, when the speeding car rammed it.

The impact of the accident was such that the car’s bonnet went under the truck’s rear wheels, instantaneously killing the two.

The police rushed to the spot and the vehicle was removed. The bodies of the youth were sent for post mortem.
