Tollywood Celebrities Under Trace:- The recent drug mafia racket busted has been leaving many celebrities across Telangana sleepless. The cops have been shocked after they could not notice many biggies involved in it. Especially Tollywood celebrities have been involved in drug mafia which is making the people curious. Around 10 Tollywood celebrities have been served notices by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Enforcement Wing of Prohibition and Excise (P&E) Department. The latest update is that 5 more have been identified and they too have been issued the notices. However as it is a sensitive matter, the cops preferred not to reveal the names officially.
However there are talks that a special press meet will be held in which the names of these celebrities will be out. All the celebrities who have been served notices have been asked to appear before SIT between July 19th and 27th in Nampally, Hyderabad. This is a shocking move from Enforcement Director Akun Sabharwal who has been quite serious on the issue. He is keen on bringing out some more names and the call records are being traced. Tollywood is under complete scrutiny and there are even talks that several celebrities who have been involved in the case kept their mobiles off. A leading web portal even published that couple of young actors wanted to fly to Bangkok and they have been stopped at the airport.
Even the Telangana government has been quite serious on the circulation of drugs in the state. The cops have been keept a keen watch from where the drugs have been brought into the state. Several accused have been arrested who have been selling drugs and others are yet to be trapped. Special teams have been working on this drug racket. Yesterday a NASA scientist along with his friend have been arrested in relation to this case and large amounts of drugs have been seized. Tollywood personalities were using cocaine, LSD, MDMA and other drugs informed the SIT.
Totally 13 people have been arrested in this case and they have been circulating drugs to the innocent students, colleges and schools across the city. Around 50 schools and colleges have been issued notices and they have been asked to keep a keeen watch on the students of these schools and colleges. On the whole, the drug racket created a huge sensation in Hyderabad. Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce President D. Suresh Babu and popular producer Allu Aravind urged the celebrities not to get addicted to drugs and spoil their lives.
