Narendra Modi to Address UN General Assembly Session

Narendra Modi to Address UN General Assembly Session:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the annual UN General Assembly session that will take place on September 27th. The event will take place in New York and Modi will stay for a week in the US. He is expected to speak on bilateral and multilateral engagements. Modi will address the crowds on the morning of September 27th. This would be Modi's second address to the leaders of the world at the UN General Assembly. After winning the second term, this would the first Modi's address at the event.

Soon after Modi's speech, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the leaders. The list includes 112 Heads of the state along with 48 heads of government and 30 foreign ministers. The General Debate will take place on September 24th and will continue till September 30th. After Brazil, US is the second speaker of the event traditionally. Narendra Modi will be honoured by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation during his visit.

Modi will be presented with the 2019 ‘Global Goalkeeper Award' through the Foundation on September 24th. Modi will also participate in an event at Bloomberg Global Business Forum.
