Hundreds Of AP Natives Sent To Quarantine After They Reach The Border:- The Government of Andhra Pradesh imposed several restrictions for all the people reaching the border even if they are the natives of Andhra Pradesh. After thousands are left strangled at the AP and Telangana border struggling to enter Andhra Pradesh, over 1300 people tried to enter into the state from the Karnataka border after a 21-day lockdown was announced. The people approached and tried to cross the border at Kolar in Chittoor district. But the officials appealed to the people to return back due to the lockdown.

All these are stopped at Nangili toll plaza at the AP border after most of them hired private vehicles to cross the border. Chittoor district collector, N Bharat Gupta and Superintendent of Police (SP), S Senthil Kumar made arrangements and they are sent to quarantine. All these people are sent to a quarantine in Kolar district and a medical team of 30 doctors along with health supporters are sent. The majority of these workers belong to the Nellore district and others hail from different parts of Andhra Pradesh.

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh made it clear yesterday to allow all the people crossing the border but conduct all the necessary medical tests.
