Experts Say Centre May Extend Lockdown After April 14th:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a lockdown of 21 days and it would end up on April 14th. The number of coronavirus positive cases got increased in all the states from the past one week and coronavirus is fast spreading. Experts predict that the Centre may extend the lockdown after April 14th considering the current situations. Right before this, Telangana Chief Minister KCR said that he would request Narendra Modi to extend the lockdown period as it is the only weapon to fight against coronavirus. Several top officials of government hinted that the lockdown will continue till the end of this month.

Narendra Modi is said to have spoken to all the Chief Ministers recently and he would talk to them once again before the lockdown gets lifted. He also has been in talks with several senior officials and most of them are said to have voted to extend the lockdown. Maharashtra is badly hit and the leaders are urging the Centre to extend the lockdown. Today, M Venkaiah Naidu, Indian Vice-President said that the final week of lockdown is quite crucial and he appealed to all the people to be extra cautious and stay at home. Several experts feel that the lockdown would bring enough discipline across the country and if lifted, the number of positive cases would go high.
